    When writing a sales letter, it’s important to place special focus on creating an impressive and attention-grabbing start with your opening sentence or paragraph.
    This is a question that I often get asked. And its a question that I'm not really able to answer, you see there isn't really a perfect layout.
    Establishing credibility is especially important for small businesses. Larger companies don’t have to work nearly as hard to assure customers who they are and of the quality of the product and or service they represent

    Crafting an effective (and profitable) sales letter is an art, but one that can be learned.
    If you've ever watched a movie that gripped you with all the drama and excitement you could handle, did you ever think what the impact would be without the emotion, the lighting, and the film score? You see, a sales letter, or any other marketing document, is pretty much like a movie. Dialogues alone won't do it. All the other 'side-show effects' are just as important.
    You must know who your audience is and target them like a laser. Know what their problems are…and deliver a clear, concise solution to that segment of the population. Don’t have your solution suitable for accountants and mortgage bankers!” Fool me once… shame on you. Fool me twice… shame on me!”
    Remember the numbers game? Well, this is the thought behind sending out sales letters. The hope is that with every hundred or so letters, a few sales will result.
