I have a passion for helping people find their own truth, who they are, and where they are going. We are in a period of awaking to many truths that exist before us; I seek to help those who need it the most. “I Knew You Would Find Me”.
I recently came across this movie called Zeitgeist while surfing on youtube.com; I was searching for titles under Federal Reserve Banking, when the name Zeitgeist caught my eyes. Zeitgeist means “The spirit of the time; the taste and outlook characteristic of a period or generation.”
I decide to watch the five part series on the Federal Reserve Bank; I had studied the Federal Reserve Banking system about 6 years ago. I read a book called the Creature from Jekyll Island by Edward Griffin. This book not only was shocking, but it really opened my eyes to how our money supply works. This Zeitgeist movie really did a great job of shown the history of how the FED got its power.
The movie is about 2 hours long.
You can also see the movie, and find out reference materials at: http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com.
I must warn you that all three parts will shake you up, because it could shake-up your believe system (to it’s very core). If you’re open minded you will find yourself asking questions, like can this be true? and if this is true how could it happen?
It had me ask myself what is REALITY? How do I fit into this reality that now presents itself to me and what now?
WHAT NOW? That’s the big questions, because now I have a personal responsible… See the movie yourself, click play and leave comments on how you see things for yourself, and please be kind and respectful.

It is an interesting movie that gets you thinking but like just about everyone and everything there is an agenda and there were too many red flags about the 'facts' and presentation of the movie for me to give it much credibility. (although not all of it) I will always listen to someone's viewpoint and while I may consider it I am too highly skeptical anymore to be sold on much of anything. We can sit around and speculate all day about what happened yesterday or what will happen tomorrow but we may never know, but this movie will certainly be the point of many discussions. Still surprisingly I have greater concerns, hopefully the general public will weigh everything and decide for themselves instead of accepting it blindly just because its radical and new and this guy claims he knows the 'truth'.

I agree with neil. The movie raises interesting prospects but I would have to question the credibility on some of the issues. Particularly part II. A lot of the 'truth' behind 911 is mere speculation based on a bunch of different information from a bunch of different people. Nobody should trust any kind of information unless they have they have their own reasons that would back it up. There is more than one truth. The other thing that bugged me was how the movie was put together. The music, the atmosphere, the graphics gave it an eerie feeling. It seemed like a stereotypical propaganda film. However, would I absolutely believe the part about Christianity. So many scholars and historians will credit the fact that nearly all of Judaeo-Christianity is based off of pagan symbols and beliefs.

Do a search for "zeitgeist movie truth" on google and you will actually find many of the "facts" in the movie comparing Jesus to other deities or Christianity with other religions to be incorrect. It is certainly true that other religions have many things in common with Christianity, but that does not mean everything in Christianity was based on them. To quote one of those websites: "An important fact to keep in mind while reading this section is the approximate 300 detailed Messianic prophecies regarding the life, death, and ministry of Jesus in the Old Testament. The prophecies span approximately 450 to 1,500 years before His birth. The accusation of Christians plagiarizing the accounts of other figures in the first century ignores the fact that concepts such as the virgin birth, the resurrection, and a Father-Son, relationship precede most figures in this article." Also, some Christian traditions or symbols that are similar to pagan ones were actually done on purpose & do not claim to be accurate. Nowhere in the Bible does it state that Jesus was specifically born on Dec. 25th. I have no problem celebrating it as a symbol of the day of His birth - just picking a day to celebrate. Also, I do not have in-depth training on astrology, but I would not be surprised if there were some connections there, since God did create the stars (see Genesis) & I'm sure is able to make all things work together to point back to Him. Interesting food for thought in the movie & a good motivator to search for truth. A great english teacher once told me: "Believe nothing of what you hear and only half of what you see."
