Ok Ok Weird isn’t it

Don’t be poo, pooing (sorry bout the wording) this analogy until you have at least finished reading this. I mean think about this for a few seconds

If the baby’s brain is the hardware, then you, the parents, provide the software. When you understand the hardware (your baby’s brain), you will be better able to design the software (your own behavior) to promote baby’s well-being.

Shouldn’t we also be attempting to do this with our Business. Makes no matter if it is online or offline Look at this way if we don’t understand our baby How can we effectively raise them.

The first few months of raising a baby are important. We need hold, hug, feed, change, nurture and love the baby.

Doesn’t it stand to reason then that we need hold, hug, feed, change, nurture and love our business.

We need to create a relationship and environment that allows your baby to grow up with an openness to learning and the ability to process, understand and experience emotion with compassion, intelligence and resilience.

The same stands when running a business. We desperately need to build a relationship with our customers, readers or whom ever we are dealing with. If we ignore the needs of what the customer needs we in turn lose out. They will look else where to find what they need.

You need to see your baby for the special individual he/she is at birth. In retrospect aren’t we doing just that when we start a new business..We need to be interactive, allow for growth, stimulation and in the process we are teaching and learning at the same time

We all know that having a baby is one of Life’s greatest Joys.Of course it changes your life immensely, and everyone has trouble coping at first. Relevance oh yes there most certainly is a relevance between having a baby and owning/operating a business.

Everyone is extremely excited about starting a new business but are we also aware just how time consuming it is going to be. I know I certainly do. The headaches, the 24/7 hours, The part about being open and available It can be thrilling and earth shattering at the same time

Having been an owner/operator of a small motel and a mother of 3 sons I can truly understand the concept of 24/7 You can’t ignore the baby crying anymore than you can ignore the doorbell ringing in the middle if the night.

Babies and business Who would have ever thought they could be compared and yes information for both be relevant to each other.

Babies need love.

Babies need nurtured.

Babies need to learn and be taught.

Babies can grow up faster than we imagined

As babies change, so does their needs.

As out business changes so should our needs
